Banxa integrated with Aleph Zero EVM to become the main on-ramp for Common
Apr 14, 2025

Getting Banxa live on Aleph Zero EVM is a significant step in making it easier for users to access the Aleph Zero ecosystem, starting with seamless AZERO purchases using fiat payment methods. Learn what’s next!
Banxa is one of the leading crypto on-ramps, providing its services for over a decade. It processes $10 billion annually in transactions across 150 countries.
Through Banxa, users in supported regions were able to purchase AZERO using credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local bank transfers and get it on their layer 1 wallets.
Now, Banxa also supports our EVM layer 2. This creates a smoother path into the ecosystem by connecting traditional payment methods with Aleph Zero’s EVM-compatible environment.
What makes this particularly exciting is what comes next: Banxa will be integrated directly into the Common Mobile app—the privacy-first DeFi platform built by the core team of Aleph Zero.
Starting with the Spring Release, which introduces the first version of the Common Mobile app, Banxa will serve as the default fiat on-ramp, enabling users to fund their accounts and begin using privacy features with minimal friction.
What this integration enables:
- You can already get AZERO on Aleph Zero WASM and Aleph Zero EVM using fiat via Banxa;
- The same functionality will be seamlessly built into the Common Mobile App in its initial release;
- Banxa in Common will not only support AZERO, but also other tokens available on the chains supported by the mobile app.
- Onboarding to privacy-focused personal finance tools is about to become significantly easier.
This integration brings us one step closer to our goal: making advanced privacy tools simple and accessible to everyday users.
Stay tuned for more as we approach the Spring Release!
