Aleph Zero Integrates With Subscan, Launches High-Precision Explorer

Jan 21, 2022

Through integration with Subscan, Aleph Zero is now able to offer a high-precision Web3 block explorer.

Ever since the mainnet launch on November 10th, 2021, you could interact with Aleph Zero via a customized polkadot.js interface. While it does serve as a very basic explorer, polkadot.js does not offer the capability of viewing and analyzing different data on blockchain networks.

Enter Subscan, a high-precision multi-chain explorer built for Substrate-based chains. With ongoing integrations to networks such as Polkadot or Kusama, it was only a matter of time before Aleph Zero would also be made available to browse with the tool. We’ve been undergoing technical integration in collaboration with the Subscan team and are now excited to announce its conclusion.

Important: please note that Subscan’s interface does not reflect Aleph Zero’s finality in real-time.

Subscan will remain a default explorer for Aleph Zero for the foreseeable future, allowing the core team to focus on building out the smart contracts infrastructure and progressing further with our privacy framework

Aleph Zero Explorer: How Does Subscan Work?

Being a high-precision Web3 explorer, Subscan allows searching for Blocks, Extrinsic, Events, and Accounts. It features most of the necessary features a user would expect from such a tool and we’re happy to announce that it’s now available for anyone interested in Aleph Zero

“We’d like to express our thanks to the Subscan team for their assistance with the technical integration”, says Michal Swietek, Aleph Zero’s co-founder responsible for platform development. “The process has been flawless and executed rapidly.”
