With the ecosystem growth on the horizon, developers need your help to keep the network secure. Help doing so by staking and (in the near future) validating Aleph Zero!

Get rewarded

If you hold 25K $AZERO or more, you are eligible to become a validator. Soon enough, the broader validator community will have the possibility of helping the network grow.

Stay honest

There is no automatic slashing on Aleph Zero, every instance of slashing needs to be explicitly approved by the team (to be replaced by decentralized governance as soon as possible).

Validator (coming soon)

To become a validator on the Aleph Zero network, prospective validators will need to stake a minimum of 25,000 AZERO and meet the hardware requirements. However, these conditions may be subject to change; these will be infrequent and communicated in advance.

Our goal is to decentralize this process as soon as possible and allow the community to decide on the necessary minimal stake. Please treat the above as the initial starting suggestion.

Nominator

The second crucial role in the Aleph Zero network is that of the nominator. Their job is to vouch for validators by delegating their stake to them. The delegated coins will count into the total sum of coins that contribute to the validators validating power. Each nomination will incur multiple on-chain actions.

In order to be able to nominate (stake), you’ll need a minimum of 100 AZERO.
