Our team consists of 20 people, including 5 math and computer science PhD’s. The list of our previous accomplishments includes ACM ICPC World Finals, first prize in International Mathematics Competition, and Simons-Berkeley Research Fellowship.

Earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics in the field of Numerical Algebraic Geometry from Colorado State University. A Simons-Berkeley Fellow and also an IBM Center of Excellence Fellow in High Performance Computing at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Has been actively involved in the DLT space since 2014. Has provided consultation to numerous projects related to security and consensus models, cryptographic schemes, as well as applying sound business and technological models for projects in the DLT space.
Studied Computer Engineering at the Chalmers University of Technology, where he also served as a board member of the Chalmers Computer Club. Studied Network Engineering at Mälardalen University with a focus on tier 1 networks. Involved in the blockchain space since 2014. Developed a variety of novel ideas connected to the DLT industry. Worked as a computer and network engineer with Internet Service Providers and hosting companies for over 10 years. Highly skilled in Project Management.
Received Ph.D. in mathematics for his work on applications of probabilistic method in combinatorics. During his doctoral studies, he was a beneficent of a SET project for interdisciplinary research and SSDNM fellowship for mathematical sciences. While his main domain is combinatorics, he is open to new technologies and has 4 years of experience in data science and machine learning applied in neuroscience research. He has been working as a freelance consultant in various areas spanning from mathematical modeling to deep learning.

Received Ph. D. in Pure Mathematics for his work in the field of Infinite-Dimensional Geometry of Banach spaces and a Bachelor of Computer Science—both at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Has been focused on applying his skills in new technologies such as Deep Reinforcement Learning, Machine Learning, and Neuroscience. Now, he is fully focused on Distributed Ledger Technologies that combine Mathematics and Computer Science in a new way. Fascinated by the vast possibilities and potential impact of this emerging field.
Studied at Aalborg University in Denmark, with masters focused on Design Thinking and Best Practice Design within the Internet of Things. Actively involved in the DLT domain since early 2017, with hands-on experience in IT administration and Project Management for large Danish academical institutions. Run a usability lab for the University of Copenhagen.
A Swiss national with 10+ years spent working with firms such as Credit Suisse, LeasePlan, Steiner AG, and Calltrade among others. He is an experienced C-level executive with finance and economics expertise, fintech and DLT included. Helps to establish a long-term asset management and investment plan for Aleph Zero.
Obtained a double major Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Wrocław. Recently defended his Ph.D. thesis in Computer Science at École Polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). The main topics in his research are discrete optimization problems and convex programming. For more than 15 years Damian has been active in the competitive programming scene. In 2013 and 2014 advanced to ACM ICPC World Finals — the World’s most prestigious programming competition — first as a participant and then as a team coach. Involved in organization of several large programming competitions.
Pure Mathematics Ph.D. (2016) and Computer Science M.Sc. (2014) obtained at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Received numerous mathematical awards and honours, such us the Paul Bruckman Prize for the best lecture at the 17th Fibonacci Conference and the first prize in International Mathematics Competition in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. In 2018 achieved 1st place at the Benelux Algorithm Programming Contest. Two-times finalist of the Algorithmic Engagements (2015, 2016). Top 5% in TopCoder and top 1% in CodeForces rankings. Joined Aleph after working at Booking.com.
Graduated from Jagiellonian University in Krakow with MSc in Theoretical Computer Science and BSc in Theoretical Chemistry. Worked as a researcher at several European universities (Jagiellonian University, VU University Amsterdam, Leipzig University) investigating a wide array of topics: category theory, formal languages theory, graph theory, computational quantum physics, and quantum molecular modeling. Over the last few years, he has been involved in the design and development of commercial software for high performance scientific computing.

During his career he overseen integrated marketing campaigns across emerging channels (print, digital, social media) and was leading rebranding and design efforts for large-scale, corporate identity systems. Most recently Creative Marketing Director at Codewise – provider of AI-powered online ad measurement and management solutions for digital marketers.

Has been involved in projects varying from the automotive industry to branding, recruitment, and tech. Helped to build one of the biggest automotive communities and YouTube channels in Poland. Was a part of Admind, a branding agency working closely with ABB, as well as worked as a Content Product Manager in Codewise, and as a Marketing Manager in First Engineers.

He has managed $800M+ in revenue and 500+ HC budgets while working closely with all levels of the organization. He is an extroverted finance professional that is passionate about technology and its positive impact on people’s lives. Max’s primary involvement is with 0x (an open protocol that enables the peer-to-peer exchange of assets on the Ethereum blockchain) where he serves as the Head of Finance. At Aleph Zero, Max is assisting us with determining high-level market trends.
Joshua was the receiver of the first-ever smart contract, as one of those involved in the BlackHalo and BitHalo smart contracting platform. One of the godfathers of proof-of-stake, Joshua is a popular speaker on alternative currencies and has represented altcoins at OKCoin and Huboi events. Currently, Joshua is working with the Aleph Zero research and development team to help implement the AlephBFT consensus in Rust.
